Upgrade of the PO tank farm AI emergency rescue system, deploying automatic jet extinguishing devices and AI video analysers plus a "Safety Cloud Platform" for networked supervision.
Overview
The PO tank farm mainly comprises 6 large spherical tanks and 13 loading bays. Automatic jet fire extinguishing devices were deployed on the pipe racks around the tank farm to protect the spherical tanks, the loading area, the pump area, the tank bottoms and the process pipelines; AI video analysers were deployed to achieve fire monitoring.
The automatic jet fire extinguishing devices link with on-site combustible gas alarms and, once an alarm is raised, automatically turn to the corresponding point and area to spray water for dilution.
A "Safety Cloud Platform" was built so that data and images are uploaded to the cloud in real time, forming networked supervision together with the app. Real-time monitoring and alarm push are available at the group headquarters command centre, on managers' phones and in mobile emergency command vehicles.
